the inspiration

One day while out in the front of our house,

I saw a lizard in the garden planter where the

blue agave, lantana, coastal sage, and rocks live.

I often saw lizards, but this time as I watched

I longed to have a pet lizard to take care of.

Lucy the Lizard arrived that day.

Other animals followed over a span of a few

years. These books are inspired by the animals

who have taught me wisdom for many years.

It is my hope that these four books will open your

hearts, and perhaps offer insight along your path.
